Warranty

If a product is defective upon delivery, you have the right to complain. Your retailer will assist you in rectifying the defect. In addition to the statutory warranty, OUTDROP offers a five- to ten-year manufacturer's warranty for its products (for selected products). The products demonstrate high quality, both in terms of materials and workmanship.

The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship.

In the event of a warranty claim, the purchase receipt serves as proof to the retailer.

There is no warranty for damage caused by improper handling, inadequate care, natural wear and tear, and the effects of UV radiation/chemicals/incorrect storage, etc.

5-year warranty - valid for material and processing defects

Repairs or replacement of the product are free of charge for the first two years of warranty coverage. Damage caused by wear and tear, improper handling, or normal wear and tear (e.g., cracks, scratches, abrasion) is excluded from the warranty.

10-year warranty (on selected products marked “FOR THE REAL OUTDOOR ADVENTURE”) - Valid for material and processing defects

Damage caused by wear and tear, improper handling, or normal wear and tear is excluded. Note: The five- and ten-year OUTDROP warranty is a voluntary service provided by the manufacturer. It grants additional rights that apply independently of statutory consumer protection rights. If a product is replaced within the warranty period, warranty claims remain valid from the original purchase date (as shown on the original receipt).

Service and repairs

The products are designed for a long service life. To maintain their quality, they require proper care and maintenance. Over time, individual components wear out. Without proper care, tents, for example, can be damaged. If you have any questions about maintenance, care, or spare parts, please contact your authorized dealer!

Warranty case – procedure

Clean and dry the product thoroughly.

Bring the product—along with the original receipt —to the retailer where you purchased it. They may be able to repair or replace it on-site.

Consumer protection law

Important: The OUTDROP five- or ten-year limited warranty is in addition to and does not limit statutory consumer protection rights. Statutory rights remain unaffected and continue to apply.

In the case of defective products, Sections 434 et seq. and 474 et seq. of the German Civil Code (BGB) apply to the exercise of your rights. You can either use the OUTDROP guarantee or your statutory consumer protection rights.

The contact person for warranty and guarantee claims is always the retailer from whom you purchased the product. This guarantee is subject to German law.
